Mackenzie Groh

Mackenzie recently moved to the Saint Louis area with her fiancée and two cats from Columbia, South Carolina. She began her color guard career with Lexington High School in 8th grade and continued through her senior year (2013-2017). During that time she spent a summer with the Legends Drum and Bugle Corps (2016) becoming an open class finalist and earning a bronze medal. In 2017, she filled a spot with River Bluff High School for WGI Championships. She continued her color guard career by spinning for Charles Towne Independent (2018-2020), who became an independent A class finalist in 2018 and was promoted to open class. She began teaching at Brookland-Cayce High School in Cayce, South Carolina, where she taught as the color guard director (2018-2020). Outside of color guard, Mackenzie is a licensed cosmetologist and licensed esthetician. She earned her cosmetology license while in high school through the Lexington Technology Center and earned her esthetics license at Southeastern Esthetics Institute, where she later returned for training in Advanced Esthetics such as cosmetic laser treatments, medical grade chemical peels and microblading.
