La Voûte Performance Ensemble
La Voûte Performance Ensemble is an Independent Open Class winter guard that competes locally and nationally. LVPE participates in seasonal competition via the Mid Continent Color Guard Association (MCCGA) and Winter Guard International (WGI). Additionally, the ensemble engages in local artistic collaborations, community outreach, and educational events. Eligible cast members must be between 18-23 years of age and exhibit adequate training and advanced performance skills in the marching arts.

The Greatest Gamble
The 2022-2023 cast of La Voûte Performance Ensemble brings ABBA’s “The Winner Takes It All” to life using a cover by Joey Niceforo recorded alongside an 80-piece orchestra. . The Greatest Gamble takes audiences on a journey through love and loss.
2021-2022
Circumflex
The 2021-2022 cast of La Voûte Performance Ensemble draws inspiration from the organization’s namesake and explores the conceptual ideas found in such unique grammatical notation. Circumflex, meaning “to bend around”, focuses on the visual, audible, and interpersonal possibilities that can be created through live performance.

Textures
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, La Voûte Performance Ensemble pivoted to a noncompetitive format for the 2020-2021 season. The artistic staff developed a culminating educational experience focused on training and performance development with guidance from the Missouri Arts Council as well as the Arts and Education Council to ensure we could continue to create safely.
2019-2020
All The World’s A Fair
In their inaugural season, the cast of La Voûte Performance Ensemble found much success with their production of “All The World’s A Fair” inspired by the 1904 World’s Fair hosted in St. Louis, MO. Unfortunately, the season came to an abrupt ending with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the cast was unable to showcase their talents on the WGI Championship stage, excerpts of this show are still performed as part of the organizations community outreach.
