Kellen Beaty

Kellen Beaty is from Normal, IL, and graduated from Illinois State University this past May with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Technology and plans to pursue a job in the realm of technical education.

Kellen has been a part of the marching arts since 2016 and is currently the director of the Normal Color Guard and Winter Guard based in Normal, IL. Kellen marched his DCI career with the Madison Scouts (20-23) and was the head guard captain during each of his seasons. This summer he returned for a fifth season with the Madison Scouts and traveled the country once again, this time as a member of their color guard’s educational staff. He also performed with Allegiance Independent in 2022 where he was first introduced to WGI.

This is Kellen’s first season with La Voûte and he is beyond excited to step back onto the floor as a performer after a three year winter hiatus taken to focus on directing his home program.
