Nala Brown

Nala discovered her true passion for color guard during her freshman year of high school, trading in her athletic pursuits for the graceful art of spinning. For four years, she dedicated herself to the Fort Zumwalt West Silver Jaguar Brigade, participating in eight seasons of exhilarating performances. Her commitment and leadership were recognized with the prestigious Esprit de Corps Award and the honor of serving as head captain during her senior year. Nala’s journey continues with La Voûte Performance Ensemble, where she has advanced to the Independent Open level. She has taught at Bayless High School for 1 year and, for the last 2 years, has been teaching at Wentzville Holt High School. As she balances her aspirations of returning to cosmetology school, earning a bachelor's degree in medical biology, and pursuing a career as a dermatologist, Nala dreams of sharing her love for color guard with the world by teaching and performing internationally while simultaneously working as a travel cosmetologist.
