Jason Mathis was born and raised in the St. Louis area. He graduated in May of 2015 from Hazelwood Central High School where he began his marching career as a sophomore in both the marching band (low brass) and the winter percussion ensemble (cymbals). He also began his journey with Freedom Percussion as a junior and continued his membership for 6 years, winning a PIO Bronze medal in 2017. Since his age out, he has become a part of the staff team with Freedom serving as a cymbal instructor as well as a visual technician. Jason is currently working with the Granite City Marching Warriors and has also taught at a handful of schools in the St. Louis and St. Louis Metro East area throughout the past 8 years.
Zoë Miller is from Chesterfield, Missouri. She is a recent graduate of Maryville University’s Interior Design program. Zoe started her color guard career spinning and competing with the Parkway Central color guard for 4 years. Zoe had 13 years of dance training at Krupinski Academy of Dance and spent 7 years performing with Mark Krupinski's American Dance Troupe. Zoe is thrilled to be a part of La Voûte's 2021-22 season!
